Congratulations to Calgary Masters Swim Club Athletes in the MSABC Provincial Championships, Nanaimo, BC, April 24-26

The Masters Swimming Association of British Columbia (MSABC) held their Provincial Championships in Nanaimo from April 24 to 26.

A contingent of swimmers from Calgary Masters Swim Club, who have trained at Talisman Centre since 1983, had a strong showing.

Peter O'Brien added 2 (more) Canadian Records in the Mens 65-69 age group

100 Bk  1:13.85 (previous record was 1:15.7)
200 Bk  2:48.02 (previous record was 2:49.2)

Four (4) new Canadian relay records were also set by our club :

Men 240+ 200 Free Relay (Dave Dickson, Peter O'Brien, John Starratt, Simon
Garside)
        1:55.92 (old record 1:56.16)

Mixed 240+ 400 Free Relay (Louise Giannoccaro, Rene Starratt, Dave Dickson, Peter O'Brien)
