Calgary Aquabelles win three of four events at Canadian Qualifier Championships
CALGARY, March 20, 2013 – Erica Slavin placed first in junior figures then helped her Calgary Aquabelles club to the gold medal in the open combo event on Wednesday in first day action at the Canadian Qualifier Championships in synchronized swimming.
The competition has attracted a record 455 synchronized swimmers from 38 clubs. Each province is represented. The junior and senior age groups are looking to qualify for the Canadian Open Championships, April 24-28 in Quebec City while the 13-15 age group, is vying for berths at the Canadian Espoir Championships May 29-June 2 in Ottawa....
