Talisman Centre Sport Partner Blog: July 2016

It is a pleasure to send you this invitation on behalf of my team at Talisman Centre. My name is Cari Din, I am the current Sport Director. I was a synchronized swim coach and athlete who grew up in TC. Along with my teammates, I won an Olympic medal in 1996 . I am a Master Coach Developer in the National Coach Certification Program for Canada and a Leadership Professor at the U of C. I am leading the Sport Portfolio here at TC four days per week.

We are scheduling two information meetings this fall, one later in the evening and one in the afternoon, in order to give you an option for attendance – that being said, attendance is not optional.

We make this one meeting mandatory because we will go over critical changes in the way we partner with you and deliver services that support your sport training and our dual mandate. I am extremely proud of our ability to balance this mandate and bring the Canadian Sport for Life and LTAD 2.0 pathway to life in our unique facility each day.

Please accept this email as a formal invitation to attend ONE of our scheduled meetings. We will be asking partners who do not attend one of the meetings to pay a fee for what will be a free educational session to attendees.
