The Global Coaches House Calgary program includes morning and afternoon sessions – you can customize your experience with a full day pass or join us for the entire week! 

The event will bring you an outstanding cast of speakers: FRANK DICK, VERN GAMBETTA, JOHN HERDMAN, BORIS VERKHOVSKI, DR. CHARLES SAMUEL, DR. PENNY WERTHNER, DEBBIE MUIR and CARI DIN. 

There will be opportunities for technical analysis, guided viewing of live and recorded Sochi Olympic events and networking with coaches across a range of winter and summer sports.

In 1983, Calgary hosted its largest amateur sport competition, the Western Canada Summer Games, for which Talisman Centre was designed and built. At the conclusion of the successful event, a Legacy Fund of $250,000 was established to support amateur athletes and amateur sport. Inspired by this commitment to amateur sport, in 2012, a second Legacy Fund was established. The John Currie Amateur Sport Legacy Fund has been initiated to honour John Currie, President of the 1983 Western Canada Summer Games, and to provide bursaries for amateur athletes with financial need training in Calgary.

Training Pool Now Open

As of 3pm the Training Pool has reopened and we will be following the regular allocation.

Training Pool Closed as of 2:30pm January 4 until Further Notice

Our Training Pool will be closed as of 2:30pm today due to a pipe leak until further notice.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  We will update you as we know more.
